Our approach

ESAT has developed a lean team structure to deliver tasks, based on our understanding of the Terms of
Reference and previous experience on similar programmes. We adhere to the “Four E Model” to
guarantee value for money for clients and funders, ensuring Economy, Efficiency, Effectiveness, and
Equity shape our financial offers.
Economy: We will leverage the existing infrastructure, such as through our Departmental Advisors as
much as possible. We design teams and utilise expertise as needed. We have competitively priced
staffing rates and a proposing a competitive management fee.

Efficiency: ESAT has a well-established network and active portfolio of programmes in Tanzania to draw
on. We are capable of rapid start-up based on this and strong delivery.
Effectiveness: We have the tools and systems in place to ensure delivery is on track and performing
well. Where required, we bolster our efforts with backstopping support and always provide quality
assurance on our programmes.
Equity: We have a mission to support the most vulnerable populations where we work and have tools to
bolster the inclusion of our work across cross-cutting themes such as gender.
